About Me

I was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. I am married to my beautiful wife Keriann, and we have two fun and active kids Tzadkreil and Skyreil. I have always been extremely active and played multiple sports. Football, track, and martial arts are my favorites. As a child I was told that I could never play sports due to my irregular heartbeat- but I did not allow that to stop me. Under supervision, I worked hard and trained smart, and a few years later the doctor told me my heart was good again. I believe that if you work hard and believe in yourself, no matter the circumstance, you can accomplish and overcome anything. As an adult I began to practice Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Muay Thai Boxing. It was life changing and it was amazing to compete and travel.  It was in a Jiu-Jitsu tournament where I tore my right pec muscle. A few months later, I tore my left pec muscle. After undergoing two surgeries, I tried different physical therapies. I never felt like I was completely healed and back to my initial strength. I was disappointed with the process and discouraged that I would never feel the same again. I was then introduced to Pilates and Muscle Activation Techniques. My body began feeling the best it had in years because of the combination of the two. I began incorporating Pilates and MAT into my clients programs and they started to see the same changes I saw. Pilates and MAT also helped with the headaches I often had from the 9 concussions I've obtained throughout my sports career.  I want be help others with the tools I've learned over the years to help get back to moving and feeling good again.
